This training program is designed for beginners and people who want to improve on their 5K time. It can help you complete your first 5k, ease in to running from walking, increase run time/decrease walk time, or just get faster! All levels of walkers and runners are welcome to participate. Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice and weekly group training runs with speed-work. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you!
Our 2012 NOBO II Training Program will focus on Jackson’s premier 5K, The Watermelon Classic on July 4, 2012! Informational meetings will be held at Fleet Feet on Thursday April 19th and Tuesday April 24th at 7pm. The program will kick-off on Thursday April 26th at 6pm.
