Meet The Staff

Lesley McLin: Having some big shoes to fill, in January of 2008, Lesley took over ownership of Fleet Feet from Jeff Wells. A background as an Exercise Physiologist and Health and Fitness Instructor, she brings an unending wealth of knowledge and experience. Since assuming ownership, she has seen tremendous growth in our running community, and has helped make Fleet Feet the Hub for runners and walkers in the Jackson area. Over the past few years, Lesley has been able to visit brands such as Nike in Portland, Oregon, New Balance in Boston, Brooks in Seattle , and Mizuno in Osaka, Japan. “Seeing both sides of the industry sheds new light and adds new respect for the technology that goes into running shoes.” Lesley has completed 7 marathons including 2 Bostons and 2 Chicagos. 
 

 

Kemily Nunnelee: Kemily received her B.S. in Psychology from Mississippi College in 2006.  While there, she played soccer for the Lady Choctaws and met her husband, Reed. She is looking forward to coaching the "Stroller Striders" with Thomas, who was born in November.

 

 

 

 

Ryan Mittwede: Ryan is a graduate of Belhaven College with degrees in Biblical Studies and History. His running career began during his Senior year at Belhaven where he ran on the Cross Country Team for a semester. Since then he's discovered a love for distance running.

 

 

 

John Brower: John, the Personnel Manager, is a long-distance runner who has competed in races ranging from the marathon to the 100-miler, with a few overall victories along the way.  His current go-to shoe is the Nike Lunaracer.

  

 

 

 

Pat Halligan: Pat is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. While there, he played on the mens soccer team. He is a native of Maine and is a casual runner for the most part, but is looking forward to stepping up his game in pursuit of the 50k.
 

 

 

 
 

Jason Wells: Jason, the Operations Manager, has been with Fleet Feet since the opening in 2002 and has been full-time since May of 2009. Graduating from Ole Miss with a degree in Business Management, Jason brings leadership and direction to the store. He enjoys running 3-4 times a week and competing in 5k's and half-marathons.

 

 

  

 

Allison Wood: Allison has recently moved back to the Jackson area from Georgia. She graduated from Belhaven College, and is a mother of two boys. She enjoys running and competing in 5k's.

 

 

 

 

 

Sarah Blackwood: Sarah is a graduate of Fordham University with a degree in Sociology and Theology. She is running to catch her four children. Her favorite races to date have been the Hood to Coast relay and the Marine Corps Marathon. 

 

 

 

 

Denise Jones: Denise has been with Fleet Feet since August of 2008. She was a court reporter for 31 years. She has run her share of races and enjoys road biking. 

 

 

 

 

Debi Gagliardo: Debi is the proud mother of four and the grandmother of three. She moved from Ohio to the sunshine of Mississippi about six months ago. Debi is currently training for her first 5k, hoping to show others that you never know what life has in store for you.

 

 

 

Candace Blaha: Candace and her husband, Weston, enjoy many outdoor activities including running, kayaking, frisbee golf and softball. She recently helped start a 5k training program at her church.

 

 

 
 

David Mittwede: David grew up in Turkey before coming to Belhaven University, majoring in International Studies. He derives much pleasure from exercising and fitness. Two of his favorite sports are soccer and ultimate frisbee.

Tate Antici: Tate graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Exercise Science. While there, he enjoyed going on daily mountain bike rides and is looking forward to participating in some 5k's and half-marathons.
